Please consider applying for the WESS/SEES DeGruyter European Librarianship Study Grant, which funds a research project relating to the acquisition, organization, or use of library resources from or relating to Europe, either historical or current.

The DeGruyter Foundation will offer €2500 to the recipient to cover airfare, lodging, and other expenses related to a research trip in Europe for up to 30 consecutive days.

Detailed information about the award criteria and application process can be found at: http://www.ala.org/acrl/awards/researchawards/wessgrant .

The deadline is December 4, 2015.

This is a great opportunity for librarians to further their knowledge and make valuable contributions to the field of European librarianship.

The committee looks forward to receiving your applications.  The award recipient will be announced at ALA Midwinter. Please feel free to contact me or the ACRL liaison Chase Ollis with any questions.
