About
Emil L. Cruz-Fernández was born in the Dominican Republic, and emigrated to the United States when he was an adolescent. After graduating from high school he went to Lehman College where he studied psychology, theater and Spanish Literature. Emil is currently a doctoral candidate at the CUNY Graduate Center specializing in Spanish Golden Age and Aljamiado Morisca Literature. Education
