Pedagogy and Intergenerational Language Change
How do linguistic features passed down generationally shape language use? This panel examines transmission, language maintenance, and pedagogical strategies for engaging evolving repertoires in multilingual communities. Contributions from educators, linguists, and diverse scholars encouraged.
Family Resemblances in Language Contact and Change
How do languages evolve through contact, forming networks of overlapping similarities? This panel explores linguistic convergence, dialectal blending, and cross-linguistic influence as manifestations of family resemblances in language change. Diverse linguistic and theoretical perspectives welcome.
