Dear all:

We are seeking self-nominations to the Executive Committee of the LLC 17th-Century English. One new member is appointed annually for a term of 5 years. Our major work on the EC is to organize panels at the MLA. In some years we also nominate MLA delegates. To be eligible for appointment, the requirements are as follows:

<li dir=”ltr”>Only current MLA members are eligible for appointment.
<li dir=”ltr”>Seven convention years must elapse before an individual can serve another term on the same executive committee.
<li dir=”ltr”>No member may serve on more than one executive committee at a given time.

Because the MLA is changing the process, our timelines is quite short. Please send us your self-nominations with a CV by the start of the 2024 Philadelphia convention (Thursday Jan 4) to Su Fang Ng, English, Virginia Tech at this email: ngsf@vt.edu.
