Pòl I. Miadhachàin-Chiblow (Paul J. Meighan-Chiblow) is a Gàidheal (Scottish Gael), born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland. He is a PhD Graduand in Educational Studies and SSHRC Joseph-Armand Bombardier Scholar at the Department of Integrated Studies in Education, McGill University, Montréal, Canada. Paul is the recipient of the American Association for Applied Linguists (AAAL) 2021 Multilingual Matters Graduate Student Award; The International Research Foundation for English Language Education (TIRF) 2021 Doctoral Dissertation Grant (DDG); and is the co-winner of TIRF’s 2021 Russell N. Campbell Award for highest-rated DDG application. His research focuses on Indigenous language reclamation and revitalization; critical sociolinguistics; language policy; and decolonizing language education.
