My research and publications focus on 19th-century American literature and culture, especially women’s writing, manuscript culture, American transcendentalism, the history of women’s rights, commonplace books and scrapbooks, and scholarly editing. Publications
The Almanacks of Mary Moody Emerson: A Scholarly Digital Edition. Ed. with Sandra Harbert Petrulionis, in collaboration with the Women Writers Project. Twelve Almanack folders have been published and can be accessed in Women Writers Online at:
