Mike Rifino is a PhD candidate in the Developmental Psychology program at the Graduate Center, the City University of New York (CUNY). His research examines how emotions within student-teacher relations are contextualized in neoliberal educational practices in community colleges. He has taught the following courses at LaGuardia Community College (CUNY): the First Year Seminar for Psychology, General Psychology, and Learning and Education: Childhood to Adolescence.
