I piloted this course as “Introduction to Digital Humanities” during fall 2016 at Portland State University’s English department. Revising my syllabus for inclusion in university-wide cluster courses, I retitled it “Digital Literary Studies.”

I support the creation of a RCWS Creative Writing Forum because I believe it will gather together storytellers publishing in digital, print and hybrid settings. It’s got the potential to bridge communities that share common goals but don’t yet hang out all in one place.
