Maren Linett is professor of English and founding director of the Critical Disability Studies program at Purdue University. She is the author of Bodies of Modernism: Physical Disability in Transatlantic Modernist Literature (U of Michigan P, 2017) and Modernism, Feminism, and Jewishness (Cambridge UP, 2007). She has edited two collections (the Cambridge Companion to Modernist Women Writers and Virginia Woolf: An MFS Reader) and two special issues of Modern Fiction Studies. Her current book project is entitled Literary Bioethics: Animality, Disability, and the Human in Modern Fiction.
