About
Lucas Simpson is an MA student in English with a specialization in Cultural, Social, and Political Thought at the University of Victoria. His research interests include 16th- and 17th-century English literary and religious culture, digital humanities, and theory. His SSHRC-funded thesis focuses on the intersections of eucharistic theology and English political theory from Richard Hooker to Thomas Hobbes. He is also a Research Assistant and Junior Programmer at the Map of Early Modern London.
