About

Hi!  I’m a composition instructor at Jersey college School of Nursing.  I teach in the LPN-RN Bridge program.  My students are adults, experienced in life and in their career of nursing.  This is a unique situation, as I have to address gaps in composition and grammar skills in a technical, fast paced program.  This means a lot of flexibility and a lot of experimentation!  I joined Humanities Commons to expose myself to what others of my field are doing, and see if anything can apply to my classroom.  Also, I like to indulge my personal interests in medievalism, textiles, and related subjects 🙂
