Olivia De Sanctis is currently a Masters student in York University’s English Graduate Program. Her research interests include modern and contemporary poetry, especially avant-garde and experimental work, the intersections between poetry and the visual arts, innovations in the materials and mediums used for literary creation, and representations of the body in literature. She has also been writing poetry from a young age. Projects
Olivia is currently working on a Major Research Paper (MRP) for the completion of her MA, which focuses on the ways in which innovations in the material forms of poetry transform the reading experience. The paper focuses on work by Bruce Nauman, Steve McCaffery and Derek Beaulieu. Memberships
