About
I teach communication studies at Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. Interested these days in media studies, cultural memory, feminisms, and hybrid pedagogy. Through various scholarly projects, including HASTAC’s Feminist Scholars Digital Workshop, feminisms and women’s studies are increasingly woven through the threads of my work. The changing portrayals of women in mediated spaces, along with the opportunity to invoke change through mediated spaces, ties together a variety of transdisciplinary interests. Education
