I am writing my PhD thesis on conventional sound symbolic vocabulary in Uralic languages. My reasearch interests are on word formation and etymology of sound symbolic vocabulary. I am focusing on synesthesia in word formation. A special attention in my research has been on Finnic and Hungarian languages.
