After the meeting today, I thought about anniversaries. The first LLC IA was San Francisco in 1998. Thus, 2023 will be the 25th anniversary of the LLC.

The three of us are the only ones with current MLA affiliation. This page was created for us today. Perhaps, we can use it as we get closer to the MLA Convention in Seattle.

We are pleased to announce that our 51 annual Italian American Studies Association (IASA) conference will be hosted by Loyola University, Chicago. The conference dates are Thursday, October 18 through Saturday, October 20 2018. More information to follow.
