• “English Literature. Theories, Interpretations, Contexts” is a journal started in 2014 and run by an independent board of scholars in English literature, providing room for a critical analysis of issues and themes concerning English literature and literatures in English, also in a comparative view. It is published by Edizioni Ca’ Foscari, Venice University’s publishing house, and is indexed in MLA directory of journals, Erih-Plus, DOAJ, Crossref. It has been accepted for inclusion in Scopus database.
    The journal promotes a multidisciplinary approach to literature, to its relations with the various fields of knowledge, with culture, society, sciences, and the arts. It is also proposed as a privileged place for the discussion of the tools and strategies used by literature, according to various theoretical perspectives. The journal encourages the discussion and exchange of ideas about literature among researchers, teachers and young scholars at both an international level.

    Issue n. 5 of the journal (December 2018) publishes articles on the following topics:
