About

I am an Associate Professor of Religion at Ferrum College in southwestern Virginia, where I teach courses in biblical studies and religion. My chief area of research is early Christian Apocryphal Literature, with a special focus on texts and traditions about the infancies and childhoods of Jesus and Mary. I am currently at work on a book about Matthew’s Magi.
