This is tough. Was raised and educated in the UK, moved to Spain in the 80s. Lived in New York for a couple of years, the only place that has ever felt like ‘home’. Research/intellectual interests: African American studies, cultural studies, postcolonial studies – any intellectual inquiry into otherness. Also very interested in exceptionalizing paradigms, whether in the positive or negative sense.
