The Women’s Caucus for the Modern Languages is an allied organization of the Modern Language Association that organizes sessions at each annual meeting focusing on professional issues of concern to women.

The Women’s Caucus for the Modern Languages also sponsors the Florence Howe Award for outstanding feminist scholarship, and the Annette Kolodny graduate student travel grant.

Membership Dues Eliminated for Grad Students, Part Time Faculty

    In order to encourage graduate students and part-time faculty members, WCML has dropped membership dues to zero for those whose income is below $20,000/year. This is only one strategy of many in our campaign to revitalize our membership. See for more details.
