    asking and answering questions about students’ learning in ways

    that can improve one’s own classroom and also advance the larger

    profession of teaching” (Huber and Hutchings, 2005).

    This year’s conference strands include:

    Online Learning: Research on teaching and student learning in fully online environments.

    Teaching with Technology: Research on teaching with technology and student learning in face-to-face, blended, hybrid and flipped classroom settings.

    Assessment: Projects on assessment of student learning at course and program levels.

    Academic/professional development: Projects on academic/faculty development supporting SoTL.

    Learning theories and pedagogy: Projects on SoTL pedagogy.
