    Call for Papers:

The Romance Linguistics Forum of the Modern Language Association welcomes a wide range of participants and approaches to Romance Linguistics to its 2023 panel. We invite abstracts exploring any area of Romance Linguistics (theoretical, socio-pragmatic, or applied) within any variation framework for the 2023 MLA Convention. Although preference will be given to papers addressing more than one Romance variety, all abstracts will be considered.

Abstracts should be submitted in .pdf or .docx format, not exceeding 1 page (up to 500 words), with a second page reserved for examples, tables and references. Include the presenter’s name, affiliation, and contact information in the body of the e-mail.

Please submit your abstract to: francisco.montano@lehman.cuny.edu by March 1, 2022.
Acceptance notifications will be sent by April 1, 2022.
