This panel explores intersections between infrastructure studies, labor, and care in global anglophone literature: in what ways are care work and the realms of reproductive and affective labor infrastructural to our lifeworlds? What kinds of infrastructures facilitate or impede domestic labor and the work of caring? How is the ongoing labor of repair and maintenance integral to everyday infrastructures, and how is this work unevenly distributed across geographies and populations?
