Dear colleagues,

To warm up the discussion board here a bit, I would like to ask if colleagues who teach courses in Ming Qing fiction and drama could kindly share thoughts, questions, open access materials that are effective in classroom settings for both advanced undergraduate courses, and graduate seminars. Affiliated questions would also be great.

For example, here are a few questions I have:

1. what are your approaches to integrate research and teaching endeavors? how can we generate a mutually beneficial relationship between teaching and researching on Ming Qing literature?
2. what suggestions do you have about developing courses that help to bridge Ming Qing studies to a greater audience?
3. what are your approaches in promoting undergraduate or graduate student research related to Ming Qing literary studies through teaching?
