Black and Indigenous Literatures in Portuguese. Papers examining literature written in Portuguese by people of African and Indigenous descent. Labor in Lusophone Literatures and Cultures. Papers exploring labor in Luso-Afro-Brazilian literatures and cultures. Possible topics include labor movements, intersections of race, class, and gender vis-à-vis work, and conditions of artistic and academic work, among others. 200-word abstract + short bio. Surrealism in Portuguese. Papers exploring the relevance and ramifications of Surrealism today.
