    The Forum on Language Theory is accepting proposals for a panel session related to “The Language of Silence” for MLA 2018 in New York. We welcome submissions on how recent political rhetoric regarding immigration leads to insecurity in educational settings including changes in language, discourse, pedagogy and programs. Please send a 300-word abstract by March 24 to Donny Vigil (vigi7700@stthomas.edu).
