    Dear Colleagues:

    If you wish to sign the petition to establish the Forum on Modern and Contemporary Chinese, please do so asap. We are almost ready to submit the proposal.

    Do not do so here. You need to go to the Forum on Mod/Cont Chinese (look under “Proposed Forums”), find that Forum (which already exists on MLA Commons), and then click “Petitions.” Under that, you can put in a statement in the comment box. Thanks for your support!
