    The Ming/Qing China Forum is meeting tonight, Friday, 7:30 p.m. in Marriott 303.

    ALL ARE WELCOME, whether you are officially in the Forum or not!

    If you are interested in seeing more China sessions at the MLA please come contribute to the conversation. Thanks!

    Here are some topics we\’ll discuss:

    1. What is the ideal schedule for Asia/China sessions at future meetings?
    2. Who might be a high-profile Sinologist to nominate for Presidential address in the next year or two?
    3. What can we do to increase China proposals this coming year?
    4. Nominations for new Ming/Qing Forum executive committee member for fall 2017 elections?
    5. Suggestions for main Ming/Qing China session in 2018?
    6. Other ideas for improving China presence at New York and Chicago conferences?
