I am honored to have been asked to stand for election to the Executive Committee of CLCS Arthurian. As a member of the executive committee, I will work to protect the representation of this field at the MLA Conferences and in the PMLA journal (when possible) by proposing sessions/topics that reflect on the exciting possibilities inherent in all topics Arthurian. More scholars and teachers should be aware of the vitality, vibrancy, and possibilities inherent to this complicated and rich field of study.
Here is a statement from Jenny Wollock, who is up for election to the CLCS Arthurian Forum Executive Committee.
I am honored to be invited to stand as a candidate for election to the
Executive Committee of the CLCS Arthurian Literature Forum.
Arthurians of our generation are fortunate in their field of study. We are
accustomed to seeing big pictures. Our work focuses attention on love,
friendship, and social equity. Most of all, we understand the value of
structures that transcend inequality.
I aspire to support these central Arthurian ideals on the Executive
Committee and in the MLA.
Many thanks for considering me as a candidate.
All good wishes,
