Thanks to all who attended our panels this past week. Please also join me in thanking Joshua Thoms, our outgoing LSL Applied Linguistics forum president, who did much of the work organizing and coordinating those talks.
On behalf of my colleagues on the Executive Committee, I am writing to solicit nominations (including self-nominations) for a new member of the executive committee who will serve from Feb. 1, 2022-Jan. 31, 2027. The new member must be an MLA member (if they aren’t currently, the appointee can join or renew and then be eligible); they cannot already be serving on another forum executive committee, unless their term ends in January of 2022; and they cannot have served on this executive committee after 2015.
If you would like to nominate someone (or yourself), please send a message to warnerc@email.arizona.edu by January 20.
