Making Waves: Two Decades of Experimental Romanian Cinema
2021 marks two decades since the symbolic launch of Romanian New Wave cinema, a movement that has received important recognition at international film festivals. The Romanian Forum of the MLA invites contributions that discuss the relationship between the approaches of Romanian New Wave and other innovative tendencies in global cinema, taking into consideration the relevance of this groundbreaking movement both in the context of Romanian culture and the global cultural market.
