Based on his ten years of experience in challenging numerous Sudoku puzzles devised by the world’s top-ranked masters, the author had developed a unique step-by-step puzzle solving procedure by way of using subscripts and brief annotations. This unique feature can manifest the logical underpinning of puzzle-unfolding process and thus enable readers, especially the seniors and minors, walk through with the author the clear path of how a Sudoku puzzle is being solved. ..... FORWARD: SuDoku is the Japanese abbreviation of “Independent Number Place”. Its original name was “Number Place“. It traced back to the Latin square, not including stars and subscripts) invented by the eighteenth century Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler.
    Notes:
    The inventor of Sudoku games was Tetsuya Nishio, who later promoting new variations of Sudoku in 2007. He first came across a game named Number Place in Dell Magazine in early 1980’s while visiting U.S. and then developed it into a more complicated puzzle to be played in Japan. Its name was later changed to Sudoku by Nikoli Magazine in Japan.
