- Abstract:
- The study area is experiencing varying levels of urban blight and deterioration brought on by years of neglect. The area is located south of Capital Region International Airport which provides many opportunities for redevelopment. Proximity to the airport and its recurring noise is a potential deterrent for potential investors. The purpose of the future research is to correct and prevent deterioration in key corridors and to create a welcoming entry point into the City of Lansing. In addition, future research will highlight and promote neighborhood aligned growth and development.
