    Spanish abstract: Comparamos los dichos de Heráclito sobre las conexiones y la comprensión perspicaz, por un parte, con algunas intervenciones de la modernidad temprana sobre el ingenio y la perspicacia (Baltasar Gracián, Samuel Johnson, G.
