- Abstract:
- Today, Pandora's Box continues to be opened, not by unsuspecting people, but by people who provide services in the name of science, politics and economics. Notwithstanding the risks, government sectors, the mass media, even scholars, abdicated from the public debate regarding the threats posed by the “box”. They include damages to the health of the population, to biodiversity, to the habitat of other living beings, to the preservation of ecosystems, to the Earth itself as a whole.
- Notes:
- The technological and technocratic apparatus, posed as the "ultimate solution" to the problems of the world, ignores the pernicious effects of the paradigms of development, growth, wealth, work, and freedom. Studies on electromagnetic pollution and wireless devices emphasize the physical and mental health risks. High-frequency electromagnetic fields are potentially carcinogenic to humans; more than 180 scientists from 35 countries recommended halting the deployment of 5G telecommunications.
