- Abstract:
- As we begin to see the discussion of open publishing, open textbooks, and open educational resources break open on campus, it’s important that those of us who want to participate in open access are up to date on all of the resources, venues, and opportunities for publishing or otherwise disseminating our work. This workshop will re-familiarize participants with the core concepts of OA (including variations of open access), the basics of creative commons licensing, OA journals dedicated to library & archives scholarship, and a few OA repositories. This workshop will be a blend of discussion and hands-on discovery.
