About

Nicky Agate, PhD is the Snyder-Granader Assistant University Librarian for Research Data and Digital Scholarship at the University of Pennsylvania, where she heads up a team of thinkers, makers, and doers committed to living their values in all aspects of their work. She is passionate about open and equitable knowledge production, research communication, and the interdisciplinary, multimodal possibilities of scholarly work beyond the article and monograph. She is a co-PI on the HuMetricsHSS project, a member of the steering committee of the Force11 Scholarly Communication Institute, and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Librarianship and Scholarly Communication.
